When you start off the day in an okay-ish kind of a mood and quickly turn it into a good mood with some prayer and productivity it shouldn't be a surprise that some things just had to end up going array. School work actually got done on time, kids were fed and playing happily in their room.. together.. no fighting..that should have been my first sign not to let my guard down. Due to my oh so helpful little man baby trying to "help turn off the gas stove" while i was switching over the laundry in the next room, me and my two little munchkins ended up being forced to go outside of the warm comfort of our home into.. 20° weather for what felt like FOREVER, when really it may have or may not have only been between 20-30 mins. 🙄 After we finally get the go ahead from the nice gas company man to go back inside our toasty little home it seems.. its not so toasty anymore. Cluelessly cranking up the thermostat to no avail realizing I feel the need to add a few more layers of clothing and that nothing requiring electricity is on. Go outside, again. Flip the breakers, still nothing. After calling and blaming my gas company for somehow messing up my electricity 😬 I look outside and go ask the nice man with the Duke energy truck when i'll have power again.. at least 3 hours.. there goes my productive to-do list tackling self. (EVERYTHING i needed to do required a computer with wi-fi or some sort of electricity). But it's day's like these that it's nice to let nap time cuddling take a little longer and begin to really appreciate the little everyday things we take for granted everyday.. like heat at the press of a button, lights, or clean water coming out of the fridge. The Lord obviously knew that today would be the perfect day to grant me one more "little thing" of joy, it came in a small cardboard box, and helped me finish my to-do list once the power came back on.. it was my free samples of Seventh Generation laundry detergent. sounds silly? maybe. But trust me, it's not. If you or anyone you've ever known has suffered from sensitive skin whether breaking out in hives or runny nose and itchy eyes (our house has seen it all) you learn to not only read labels but to hate all things unnecessarily toxic, like common scented laundry detergents. BUT, finding a good "hippie" laundry detergent that not only cleans as good as your everyday bargain brand but also leaves your clothes smelling fresh is another challenge all its own. I am happy to say though, that much to my suspicion Seventh Generation held up to the test and even better than that. Yet being "fragrance free".. i don't know that my clothes have ever smelled so good and CLEAN. Long story short, thanks to becoming a GenerationGood member and signing up for coupons and free samples i will most definitely be purchasing this product in the near future as well as recommending it to family and friends who i know have not only suffered with run of the mill detergent but also want something eco friendly. Hopefully you'll sign up and try this product and end your search for the best baby friendly detergent I've found yet. (good for grown ups and muddy husbands too) 😉 *all comments were my own, were in no way paid for, the sample was provided free, as were my opinions on the product.*

*KID APPROVED* I dont know about you but i personally have quite the crush on any and all things “cookies”.. and by crush i mean deep deep love. okay, honestly i just love carbs, but thankfully this recipe is a healthier hidden veggie recipe so i didn't feel too bad about indulging in these cookies for breakfast.. and a snack… and a pre-lunch snack.. perhaps this was OVER indulging just a TAD bit. I guess i justified all this nibbling for a couple different reasons, 1.) they tasted DELICIOUS 2.) they have zucchini in them and you cant tell, a.k.a i accomplished making vegetables taste like chocolate. your welcome. 3.) they’ve got some pretty nutrient dense ingredients so your actually nourishing your body in the process need i say more? These cookies contain buckwheat flour, which actually isn't related to wheat at all but oddly enough the rhubarb plant.. not what i expected either. Buckwheat flour is kind of an awesome food though if you want something incredibly nutrient dense and totally vegan AND gluten free. Buckwheat flour has been shown to help reduce blood pressure, help prevent certain types of cancer*, aid in diabetes management, aid in the eliminination of gallstones, protection from asthma attacks AND manage and boost the immune system.. whoa... thats a whole lotta bang for your buck"wheat".. ha.. ha.. pun intended, corny humor is all blamed on my husband and his sense of humor. Buckwheat is also a hefty dose of protein %26 per 100g, dig in vegans and carnivores alike. These lil gems packed with chocolate chips also contain spelt flour which still contains gluten but because its water soluble much easier to digest and has as many vitamins and minerals as our dear friend buckwheat if not more. Coconut sugar replaces cane sugar as it has a much lower GI index and a lower fructose level making your blood sugar more stable and not an instant and fatal sugar rush. ^^^ these pictures don't do the taste and benefits justice, but i had to try and capture some of their cake cookie goodness. As my baby boy creeps up to 9 months old, i find myself using that typical mommy excuse of "i just had a baby, maybe thats why all my clothes are so um.. unflattering?" Ha. So no offense to any mommies out there still packing on the baby building pounds, unfortunately i am right there with ya.. and a big part of me knows it can "take time" "everyones body's are different" "theres so little time to exercise", all these points are VERY valid AND true.. BUT; (yes, heres comes the "BUT")... through this journey of mommy hood, i who was once a calorie counting, carb hater somehow went from having an upturned nose to all things bread and butter to becoming one hundred and ten percent ADDICTED.. didn't know anyone could even have such an insane addiction. But alas, my newly gained mommy hood hips have come to love all things bread.
Homemade; ~Banana Amaretto Breakfast Bread Bites ~Popovers ~Wild Yeast Vegan Sourdough ~Carrot Cake Breakfast Bread (Vitamix Cookbook) ~Flatbread ~Flexible Sandwich Oat Bread (Family Favorite) ~Pizza Dough ~Egg Washed Quick Rolls (30mins) it doesn't call for egg wash.. i just couldn't help myself.. made the rolls look SOOO scrumptious! ..*drooling*.. *ahem* Now believe me, the list goes on, but i'll end here as I'm sure you've already grasped the nature of this post.. Thankfully there are SO many resources to get BACK on track in this crazy mixed up carb loving country, and thankfully most of them being FREE.. <-- i love that word ;-) Some of those Awesome resources include but are not limited to; ~Tone It Up ~Kimberly Snyder's Beauty Detox ~Blogilates ~PopSugar Fitness ~Workout Labs ..Now to just actually follow these peoples advice.. good luck to you all, fingers crossed for me! Any whole foods dairy free weight loss tips or tricks that worked for you that you'd like to share? lemme know! It's kind of a catch 22.. You know the whole having two kids under two thing. BEST blessing the Lord could have ever given me and greatest trial to test my sanity. But as the days go by my "baby girl" is now a full blown 2 1/2 year old "big girl", training undies and all, holding her purse while talking on her pretend phone about the oranges she needs to go to the grocery store to get. My "newborn" (8 month old) 😉 crawls into the dishwasher to play in the dirty water..and I can't help but take a step back and realize.. Man I am blessed. When we had or son and all got home from the hospital I realized we must have been OUT OF OUR MINDS to have children so close together. Now all of a sudden I had TWO diapers to change, TWO ALWAYS HUNGRY mouths to feed and TWO very clingy mommy loving children both SCREAMING for constant attention and affection.. Now eight months later and I've got a built in toy fetcher when baby boy drops his toy big sister is ready to pick it up and show him how it's done. On other days she's he one taking his toys, he's pulling her hair, and so is our life. How on earth do mothers with twins do this whole mom thing? Don't get me wrong I've always known that I'm blessed, but sometimes amongst mountains (not mounds, MOUNTAINS) of sometimes clean laundry and kitchen floors full of crumbs and.. Something sticky that has probably been there since dinosaurs roamed the earth it can be hard to REMIND myself of this ever so present fact ALL the time. Thankfully the old saying "it gets better with time" is definitely true! I've learned a couple things along the way how to keep kids entertained and thriving, experimenting day after day and can't wait to share some mommy tidbits, recipes, knowledge and humor with all you fine folks in cyber land 😉 3fa6af83ed090fcc6dc11985861405a328a8a42451fad04ae2 Okay, so by the title of this post you probably have some idea where i'm going with all this.. an amazing way to get all the vitamins, supplements, essential oils, regular oils and SO MUCH MORE all while getting the "best price" you can find, free shipping AND great customer service... my friends, let me introduce you to a place in CyberLand called Pure Formulas.
